Best of the Rest?
The yield on the 10-year Treasury note was 2.57% on 8/5/2011, the day that S&P announced a downgrade of the USA from AAA to AA+. Now 14 months later, the yield on the 10-year Treasury note closed the third quarter of 2012 at 1.63%. Just speechless… What fiscal discipline we have in our government to get these low rates (pun intended).
